NITRONIC® 60 ist ein mit Silizium/Mangan legierter austenitischer Edelstahl mit der doppelten Streckgrenze des Werkstoffs AISI 304. Der erhöhte Silizium- und Mangangehalt hemmt Verschleiß, Abrieb und Reiben und macht die Legierung für Temperaturen bis 1000°C geeignet. Die allgemeine Korrosionsbeständigkeit liegt zwischen AISI 304 und 316.
